The only downside is that visitors cannot currently click directly on the calendar date within the Reward Seat Checker to book their ticket – they then need to navigate back to the website’s Reward Seat Points search, input their preferred dates and continue with the booking.
The new tool follows the carrier’s launch of guaranteed reward seat availability last year, which promises a minimum of 12 reward seats will be offered on every flight across the carrier’s global network when the flight goes on sale.
This includes two seats in Upper Class, two in Premium and eight in economy.
