The judges at this year’s Top Gear Awards have decided that the Koenigsegg Jesko is the worthy winner of ‘Hypercar of the Year’, recognizing the striking design and the innovations under the hood that deliver incredible performance.

Any automotive enthusiast knows that the annual Top Gear Awards are amongst the most well-respected in the industry, and it’s no easy to task to make it to the shortlist, let alone win one. Koenigsegg achieved it once before, with the Agera winning Hypercar of the year back in 2010. Now, as the time approaches to unleash the Jesko in full to our owners around the world, it has been awarded with Top Gear’s Hypercar of the Year for 2022.
The decision was made by editors at Top Gear, and they appreciated the sheer power of the Jesko combined with its drivability, unique technology and innovative design.
“We’re so excited to receive this award, we’ve really put our heart and souls into making the Jesko stand out as a hypercar and amazingly enough, the Jesko received the award on my father Jesko’s birthday, who the car is also named after. The stars were aligned.” says Christian von Koenigsegg, founder and CEO of Koenigsegg.
