Ms. Peterson additionally earned a Master of Arts in social service administration with the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration in 1977 and later continued her education with a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 2011.
After providing superior service as a social worker, psychology technician and teacher with the Delta-T Group, a premier agency connecting local hospitals and healthcare facilities as well as professionals in the pharmacy and substance abuse fields as well as education from 1998 to 2001, Ms. Peterson made an impact as a teacher with the Chicago public schools from 2001 to 2012 and with the A Plus Tutoring Service Ltd. from 2012 to 2013. Since 2014, she has prospered as chief executive officer of TIK Enterprises, in which she works with different insurance companies as an insurance broker, assists families and small businesses with individual financial plans that they are trying to achieve, and confers with clients to try to develop marketing strategies to achieve their financial objectives. As a career highlight, Ms. Peterson cites her success and achievement with the Mayor’s Chief Employment Program for the City of Aurora, in which she helped other businesses and everything in the community. Her goal with TK Enterprises in the coming years is to help as many families as she can that wish to improve their financial foundation for their family and businesses.
