The new SWISS economy cabin will feature “comfortable and functional seats” with an increased seat pitch, 48-50cm in width, and a 7-inch recline. It will also come with additional storage options, new 13-inch IFE screens, and USB charging ports.
The design brief across the cabins was “warm minimalism”, resulting in a colour palette of deep red, dark grey and beige, alongside the use of natural materials.
All classes will benefit from new “human-centric lighting” designed to alleviate jet lag, and improved connectivity options for personal devices.
“With ‘SWISS Senses’ we’re making our customers’ air travel an even more personal and more sensual experience,” said SWISS CCO Tamur Goudarzi Pour.
“With its deep devotion to detail, our new long-haul cabin will give our passengers a particular feeling of warmth and well-being – a cosy and comfortable yet also functional environment in all our travel classes.”
