With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. McFarland has found success as an account executive and broker for CoverWallet since 2021. He was previously a benefit account manager with Paylocity, a life and health insurance agent, an account manager with Risk Placement Services Inc., an account manager with Gallagher and an International Service Specialist for Zurich North America. Mr. McFarland is licensed in health, life and accidental insurance. He’s a former member of the Zurich African American Alliance and the Women International Networking Group.
In recognition of his professional accomplishments, Mr. McFarland was the recipient of Bronze Awards from Zurich North America, in addition to multiple awards in Switzerland, Italy and Canada. He prepared for his career at Aurora University, where he completed coursework in philosophy, workforce development, teaching and training. He continue his education at Dominican University, where he completed coursework in business, management, marketing, teaching and related support services. Mr. McFarland studied at Harper College from 2003 to 2004 and the College of Lake County from 2010 to 2011 before graduating from Harper College with an Associate of Arts in communications in 2020.
