Paul Jankovsky, Jr., Managing Principal of J M Advisors, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance and mortgage-backed securities.
Since earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the Baylor University Hankamer School of Business in 1977, Mr. Jankovsky has excelled for more than 45 years as an accomplished professional in the finance industry. Since 2008, he has served as managing principal of J M Advisors, LLC, in Dallas, Texas. Prior to this position, he was the president of Broadsword Commercial Mortgage with Broadsword Investors from 2017 to 2019. In 2016, Mr. Jankovsky garnered experience as managing director of Quadrant Mezzanine Partners, and from 2011 to 2014, he was co-founder and executive vice president of investment strategies with BH Capital, LLC in Addison, Texas.
Among his accomplishments, Mr. Jankovsky was selected among 10 other finance experts to help a bank establish a commercial mortgage-backed securities platform based in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2015. He has worked for numerous esteemed financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs Commercial Mortgage Capital, Merrill Lynch, and JPMorgan Chase & Co., and originated in excess of $4 billion in securitized commercial real estate loans. Mr. Jankovsky convinced Merrill Lynch to purchase $41 million of AJ-rated commercial mortgage-backed securities for only $13.6 million, an endeavor that netted the company more than $38 million. In the coming years, he plans to mentor younger finance professionals, which he considers a privilege in his career.
