With over four decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Zisson has cultivated a career of excellence across a wealth of business ventures. Though he is mostly retired from professional work, he recently served as the co-founder and managing director of Unplugged and Standing for the Children of Ukraine in 2022, a charitable venture that worked in tandem with the Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program. Furthermore, he has served as a board member of the Palm Beach Day Academy since 2013 and as an emeritus board member of The Facial Pain Association since 2001. Prior to retiring in 2013, Mr. Zisson worked as a senior investment management consultant at Morgan Stanley, having originally joined the company in 1984. He held the same position at Shearson Lehman Brothers between 1994 and 1995, whom he initially began working with in 1985 as a member of the president’s council. With a keen interest in music and record collecting, Mr. Zisson began his career in 1974 as a record buyer at E.J. Korvettes in New York. He subsequently became the general manager of A&M Records, working in New York City and Los Angeles, California, from 1976 to 1978.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Zisson pursued a formal education at Brown University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in human studies, magna cum laude, in 1974. In addition to his academic credentials, he is also a licensed investment advisor consultant. To remain abreast of developments in his field of work, he remains affiliated with the Investment Management Consultants Association. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Zisson was recognized as the Top Performing Investment Management Consultant out of 700 by the Kennedy Center in 1994.
Attributing much of his success to his dedicated work ethic, Mr. Zisson was largely inspired to pursue his vocation because of his love of music, which opened many doors for him throughout his career. In this regard, he is most notably proud to have established the Zisson Comprehensive Breast Care Center at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Furthermore, he is proud to have helped Peter Frampton in selling one of the bestselling albums of all time, “Frampton Comes Alive.” Looking to the future, Mr. Zisson hopes to continue living his life to the fullest.
