Conrad Hotels and Resorts has debuted in Morocco with a waterfront property in its capital city.

The 120-room Conrad Rabat Arzana is located north of Harhouara and features modern architecture, four F&B venues and a spa.

The grand lobby features curated artworks, plush fabrics and ornate marble, with views over the pool and ocean. Rooms and suites have a colour palette of cream, pine, blue hues and earth tones, along with custom-designed furniture.

The property has the first Moroccan outpost of 99 Sushi Bar and Restaurant, along with all-day Moroccan and French cuisine at La Brise Brasserie.

Further dining venues include lobby-side tea lounge Feuillage which offers premium Moroccan teas, coffee blends and bites, and L’Oursin Pool Bar and Lounge.

Leisure facilities include a two-floor spa with six wellness rooms, a Moroccan hammam, beauty salon and lounging sun deck with a relaxation pool on the terrace, as well as a 24-hour fitness centre with personalised coaching services.

For meetings and events, the property offers a ballroom which can accommodate up to 200 guests, two boardrooms and an outdoor terrace spanning 125 sqm.

The hotel is 15 minutes drive from the corniche and 35 minutes from Rabat Salé airport.

Jochem-Jan Sleiffer, president, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, Hilton, commented:

“The entry of our iconic Conrad Hotels and Resorts brand, named after our founder, Conrad Hilton, into Rabat marks a significant milestone in the growth of our portfolio in the Middle East and Africa – underscoring our strategy to bring Hilton’s luxury brands to new destinations across the region.

“Conrad Rabat Arzana is our sixth property in Morocco, and we believe this incredible addition will redefine luxury and enhance the hospitality offering in Rabat for business and leisure travellers alike. We look forward to welcoming guests to this extraordinary property.”

Dino Michael, senior vice president and global category head, luxury brands, Hilton added:

“We are excited to introduce the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand and Hilton’s first luxury development to Morocco. The brand’s contemporary, bold design concept is brought to life at this remarkable hotel, where guests can enjoy elevated and purposeful service to inspire the luxury traveller. Conrad Rabat Arzana will be a centre-point for impactful guest experiences in Morocco and set the standard and iconic appeal for this distinct and legendary brand.”

This marks Hilton’s sixth property in Morocco, with hotels including Hilton Tanger City Center Hotel and Residences, Hilton Tanger Al Houara Resort and Spa, Hilton Garden Inn Tanger City Centre, Hilton Garden Inn Casablanca Sud and Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort and Spa.

There are an additional six hotels under development in locations across the country.
