With over a decade of experience to his credit, Mr. Porter is a rising expert in the real estate industry. In 2022, he joined MN Custom Homes in Bellevue, Washington, as a business strategist, working alongside the company’s senior leadership to develop and implement unique buying and selling strategies for their customers and clients. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the director of strategy and innovation for GNB-KL Group in Elk Grove, California, from 2017 to 2021. He also worked as a manager in the documentation department of System Tech Inc. between 2016 and 2017 and as a project manager for KHI Medical between 2015 and 2016. Mr. Porter began his career in 2011, acting as a geologist II for Barrick Gold Corporation until 2015.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Porter cultivated a formal education, earning a bachelor’s degree in general studies at the University of Idaho in 2011 and a Master of Business Administration in finance at Southern Oregon University in 2021. In addition to his academic credentials, he is also ASQ certified as a manager of quality and organizational excellence and a certified kaizen facilitator. As part of his dedication to his profession, Mr. Porter also remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including Phi Kappa Phi, the National Honor Society of Financial Management Association International, and the American Society for Quality. Over the course of his career, he has attributed much of his success to his curiosity and excitement for personal and professional growth. In light of his many accomplishments, Mr. Porter is most notably proud to have returned to school to achieve his MBA with a 4.0 GPA while also maintaining his full-time schedule as a professional in the field.
