With more than 30 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Stamps has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of Deborah Stamps Consulting LLC since 2022 and an executive with Rochester Regional Health since 2020. She previously served with Rochester Regional Health as the system vice president of quality, safety, and innovation from 2016 to 2021 and both vice president and chief nursing officer from 1989 to 2021. Moreover, she has been active as a licensed practical nurse in the ventilator unit at Westfall Health Care Center, the home care units for Kimberly Quality Care and Continental Health Care Services, the Park Ridge Health Systems, for which he was also appointed as a shift team leader, and the Rochester Psychiatric Center. Ms. Stamps has been likewise dedicated to the Genesee Valley Finger Lakes March of Dimes as the board chairperson since 2012, the Genesee Baptist Church as a trustee and the chairperson of the health ministry since 2012, and the New York State Action Coalition Future of Nursing as the co-lead since 2011.
To support her professional endeavors, Ms. Stamps notably earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Monroe Community College in 1997, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Brockport in 1998, a Master of Science in the Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Program from the Nazareth College of Rochester in 1999 and a Doctor of Education in executive leadership from St. John Fisher College in 2010. Furthermore, she has obtained her certifications as a gerontological nurse practitioner, a registered nurse and a board-certified nurse executive. As a testament to her exceptional undertakings, she has been presented with a number of accolades in her field, including the 2022 Phoenix Award, the 2011 Leadership Award from the Ralph C. Wilson School of Education, the 2010 Sojourner Truth Award from the Genesee Valley chapter of the Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club, the 2007 MEDSUG Nursing Research for Practice Writers Award and the 2003 Nursing Administrator Award from the Genesee Valley Nurses Association, to name only a few. Inducted to the Monroe Community College Foundation’s Alumni Hall of Fame in 2011, Ms. Stamps is proud to contribute to her community through her profession and hopes to cement Deborah Stamps Consulting LLC as a certified woman and minority-owned business while ensuring individuals receive access to quality healthcare in the coming years.
