Bruce Hollands, Executive Director at Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in PVC pipe manufacturing and installation.
With 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Hollands has excelled as the executive director of the PVC Pipe Association, a nonprofit organization representing North American manufacturers of sustainable, corrosion-proof PVC pipe for water, sewer and irrigation infrastructure, since 2009. In addition to his responsibilities in this role, he has served on the board of directors for the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Management Center at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Prior to this position, he was active as the president of Innovative Service Solutions between 2001 and 2009. He previously found success as the executive vice president of marketing and the director of corporate development in charge of the annual trade show and conference with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities from 1993 to 2001. As a testament to his stellar career, Mr. Hollands has received certificates for speaking engagements at various conferences.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Hollands pursued an education at the University of Ottowa, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Social Science, cum laude. He subsequently concluded his formal studies with coursework toward a master’s degree in history. Driven by his hard work and dedication to his field, he attributes his success to his passion for helping others through his volunteer efforts, including his political involvement in Canada which enabled him with the chance to develop a unique skill set for advocacy, influencing the government, and his career. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud of effectively positioning PVC Pipe as the best solution for sustainable underground infrastructures in North America. In the coming years, Mr. Hollands hopes to continue thriving in his present endeavors, especially in the environmentally friendly replacement of cast iron and asbestos cement piping with PVC pipe.
