Amy M. Plank, a retired project manager at the Second Judicial District Court of the State of New Mexico, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of legal service.
Having enjoyed a fulfilling career in her chosen field that spanned more than four decades, Ms. Plank retired from her role as a project manager for a reporting program at the Second Judicial District Court of the State of New Mexico in 2018, having initially joined the Judicial Branch of New Mexico in 1998. During the course of her service as a sworn officer of the course, she performed various clerical duties, acted as a bailiff and monitor, and trained new hires. Additionally, she played an instrumental role in spearheading the rollout of the Odyssey Case Management System and the PeopleSoft HRMS System in New Mexico.
Before embarking upon her professional journey, Ms. Plank studied at Stephens College, a private women’s college in Columbia, Missouri, from which she attained a Bachelor of Arts in health and physical education in 1979. Leveraging her ability to speak plainly and compassionately about sensitive subjects, she went on to pursue a career in human resources within the private sector for over 20 years, after which she pivoted toward the field of legal service.
In accounting for her success, Ms. Plank credits her enthusiasm for learning. Outside of her vocational efforts, she has donated prolifically to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Animal Humane Society. She also enjoys such pastimes as reading and playing golf. Looking toward the future, Ms. Plank aspires to deepen her involvement in local community activities, as well as continue caring for her elderly mother.
