Alaska Airlines also highlighted a $1.5 million investment in its Portland lounges this year, expanding the existing space with the addition of an enclosed patio area, and the opening of a new Express Lounge at Concourse B.
Work is also being carried out to refresh the carrier’s lounge at Los Angeles International, including new artwork by local artists at LAX.
The airline opened a new lounge at San Francisco International in 2021, with the renovation of a former American Airlines Admirals Club lounge within the airport’s Terminal 2.
Alaska Airlines said it had doubled its lounge footprint since 2018, investing $30 million in improvements including at its flagship N Concourse Lounge at Seattle.

Alaska Airlines became the 14th full member of the Oneworld airline alliance in April 2021, giving eligible members access to the carrier’s lounges at Anchorage, LAX, New York JFK, Portland, San Francisco and Seattle.
