Since 2022, Dr. Starks has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of MNDYRR Technologies Inc. The organization, which stands for “Mentoring Nurturement for Dynamic Youth Resilience and Restoration” and is pronounced “mender,” helps child welfare and educational professionals connect with and understand traumatized youths. Dr. Stark’s company provides a teletherapy and social network platform to serve as a gathering space for mentors, psychologists, therapists, counselors, educators, parents, social workers and other child advocates. Alongside his work at MNDYRR Technologies Inc., he has found success as an author and public speaker at schools and conferences.

Among his written works, Dr. Starks authored “Love Makes the World Go” and “Vultured.” In 2021, he wrote “In the Light of Eden” and “In the Dark of Eden,” and in 2020 he published “Love Will Find Your Home.” In 2011, he published “Linking Multigenerational Workplace Dynamics to Knowledge Transfer Utility in the Federal Government Sector” with ProQuest, and in 2013, he published “The Forthcoming Generational Workforce Transition and Rethinking Organizational Knowledge Transfer” in the Journal of Intergenerational Relationships.

Dr. Starks prepared for his career at Eastern Mennonite University, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2003. He continued his higher education at Strayer University and earned a Master of Business Administration in 2007. In 2011, he graduated from Capella University with a Doctor of Philosophy in organizational leadership. Alongside his primary professional roles, Dr. Starks serves as the board president for the West Virginia CASA Association Inc. To keep abreast of his field, he is a member of the board for the Harrison County Child Advocacy Center, the World Vision KidREACH Academy and the Barbour County School Board.
